Dr. Waxman completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University. Her recent professional experience included providing psychological assessment and treatment at The Ottawa Hospital on the maternal fetal medicine, gynecological oncology, HIV, respiratory rehabilitation, and neuromuscular services. She has also worked at several sites in Kingston, including Providence Care Mental Health Services; Queen’s Psychology Clinic; Health, Counseling and Disability Services at Queen’s University; and The Regional Assessment and Resource Centre. Dr. Waxman’s primary theoretical orientation is CBT for mood and anxiety disorders, stress-related difficulties, interpersonal issues, sexual dysfunction, and management of chronic illness/disability.
